No wheel came with it. Same splines as the f100 that I have mounted already. Need to machine to taper or press in a F1.
started to fit the rails I made next three pics are of how fucked my body is. over an inch out at the a pillar and the same at B . cowl post is flush to frame on pass side. and hanging over 2" on drivers. most of the problem is in the cowl and it is welded together . fun fun ill be rebuilding the whole thing I guess. stay tuned for subrails from scratch
Well, that's one hell of a cool thread bct! Like what you're doing and how ...best is that you just don't give in to frustration. You are getting it DONE! Thanks for putting me on to your build ...and keen to see you sometime in the coming week. S2
Will this button work with this wheel .? I have the wheel and the button is on the way . Just curious.
Great build, found it only today! Definitely reminds me of around here...my project is a '27 T touring, like the one pictured next to your frame a few pages back... Very intrigued with your sub frame channels, and the bends to follow the '32 'kick ups'. Best channels I've seen, please mention how you bent them. (Rolled?) Thanks
Thanks,.Just sheer force and a common pipe die . Flange got a bit rippled but hammered out straight. Could have shrunk it wit a torch (or tried too) but it didn't come to that.
Very cool work your doing! Just found your thread today. Nice to see another Canadian build roadster. Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Greetings bct!...you say " not much interest " but maybe there are more like me that have been silently watching.....nice work and DAMN it's pretty countryside around your place!...a couple of shots show 3 foot coverage " Morton building" style steel siding , you build a new shop?
Thanks guys . I've moved back home to the family vinyard in osoyoos. Bc. Canada's paradise. Incredible mild winter here normally but this year has been great. I have tomorrow off so stay tuned for an update.
Got my tt welded and bones shortened. Moved the mount to the tapered area I hope its happy there. Sleved the joints in my bones and will need to repair one split seam. Anyone got tips on how to reproduce the odd weld beads on the bottom of wishbones?
Fyi 17 inches exactly came out of the torque tube and about 6 for the wishbones. I did not have to adjust the angles at the mount bolt but it is slightly tweaked. I'm going to add some heat to them when I tighten it up tight
Can anyone confirm this is a speedometer cable bracket? Fits on the clam shell. Might be part of cable brake system? If it's for speedo ,I'll use it.
Bought it from a street rodder converting to t5. Never noticed the cover . I'll pull it off and see if the normal bolt holes are under. It's an early trans with the shifter bent to swan shape. Got it for a song and it is nice and tight.
