This has to be, hands down one of the coolest threads on the HAMB. Read every post and enjoyed every photo. If it were a book I'd buy it! Thanks for the great trip report, makes me itchy to take one myself.

What an amazing journey you just took us on. I'm truley inspired, great photos and stories.
What did the wagon get for gas mileage?

 

They just left out again yesterday to do this again...

 

This was great even though I am late, but hey consider it a bump for those who havent seen it yet.

 

I believe he said they averaged 14 mpg, not to bad. I read this whole thread and felt like I was on the trip with you guys, glad your able to do it again, I've been on parts of rt66, but I would love to do the whole thing someday, definitely on my bucket list, thanks for bringing us along, you guys should add more "photo journalism" every time you take this trip, would be interesting to see the new stuff you may encounter along the way!
