Event Coverage Road Rockets Rumble 2012

Figured I would get an early start on this even though it's a month away. Seemed like alot of people complained they missed it last year so thought a 4 week headstart would help. Dates are June 21st-23rd Clarion Waterfront Hotel Indianapolis IN ......whose going?

I drive in 400 miles from Pittsburgh PA to vend....wouldn't miss it, if you are anywhere near the event and don't attend you don;t know what you are missing

Well if all you Hambers need a place to take a break (in the nice airconditioned room off to the left of the lobby) come on in and introduce yourself...we'll sit and shoot the shit and watch a movie....PBR's are on me, while they last (one per customer....some of you guys can really pack away the brews !!)

I'm going for the 5th time. a whopping 30 mile drive! Can also offer help if a fellow HAMBER has any problems with their rig while here. I need to get off here and get out in the shop and get busy so I can take the 64'

 

Hoping the weather is good....last year was about perfect with not too hot and very little rain

i will be there vending out side in the main row like always. not sure on what cars i am bringing if any. have to wait and see what i can do. will be selling shirts, and probably custom bead rolled panels, live demos at the show

Planning on making the show for the first time

 

I sent in my pre-registration early last week and received a call from Naomi confirming my registration this week. Wow, what difference in customer service from your typical show!

Can't wait to experience my first Road Rocket Rumble.

ill be there! first time i actually get to drive something instead of just showing up.... cant agree more about the rocket melons....

 

For those "first timers" here's what to expect
An excellent array of cars ranging from customs traditional Rods and in between, stuff you won;t see elsewhere
A good mix of vendors, maybe about 30 or so between inside and outside of which I am one.
The fun desn't stop at dusk....it's just getting started ! Bands are choice and burlesque even better
Lot's to do lot's to see in a nice setting, run by a group of people who make you feel at home.
I drive 360 miles to vend there, I don't sell alot but it's an enjoyable event and the Rockets make you feel appreciated for joining them...you won;t be disappointed
