Yea booked room at wellesley inn yesterday only a few rooms left

hahahaha, That was Slag with the yellow pickup and the legendary burnout. My '57 Ford is sitting there, it doesn't throw fire. Oh well. I got my room at the wellesly, I'm ready for a good timethis year

 

any pictures of the car that they wouldn't let in their show that Frank Kurtis built in 1936 for Tommy Lee? It had a 318 Offy in it, ( the largest Offy ever built) ran on the lakes in the 30's I have seen pictures of it from Muroc. Them not letting that car in is about as stupid as when the guys working the gate at the L.A. Roadster show wouldn't let Ed Iskenderian in with his car.

 

fuckin laughable! having said that ,those guys do a good job and it is almost guaranteed that at least a few questionable descisions will be made in terms of what does or doesnt get in.

 

Hey Skip where are you headed to this year. Gotta get together again. Love the Cannat's 2003 shots at Gay's house especially our pick up and at the Park with him too!!

 

the good burn out in the yellow dodge was in 2003 where it went around the whole parking lot and under the canopy where you check into the hotel. I wish I had pictures of that.

 

o god i cant wait til this year except now well have double the fire double the burnouts double the beer and double the broads wataya say slag??

 

and double the price for the hotel room. they jack up the prices because we burned holes into the blacktop. Oh well, all the guests have to pay it that weekend, including the smoke-a-blunt-fest they had going on 2 years ago. Greasers, rockabilly, jamaincans and reggae...what a combo that was
