Folks Of Interest RIP hamber groundpounder

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by milwscruffy, Oct 22, 2017.

  1. We lost another one last night, "groundpounder" AKA Jim "wildman" Watson. Jim was a talented fabricator , welder, dirt track driver and hot rod builder and lover. He started out in Wisconsin, and his talents took him south to Nascar land. Jim was currently working a a 1932 Ford, which was a long term project due to his busy schedule. He was currently a fabricator on Martin Truex Jr's team, and it was nice to see a win today to honor him. RIP Jim and Godspeed.

  8. Sad news indeed. I saw the coverage during the NASCAR race but didn't realize Jim was "groundpounder" on here. Thoughts and prayers out to his Friends, Family and all who knew him.
