RIP GrandPa Munster.....

Lost Al Lewis after 90 years.......a BIG part of my influence in that show...who can forget the show where he wins back the Koach by building and racing the Dragula?

That show was a big influence in my life as well. I once built a VW powered trike called the "Trike-U-La" based on that show. Sad. Very sad indeed.

i dare say he was my favorite character on the munsters... ok, lily was my first crush, that should explain a lot. but gramps was my favorite...he made it to 90 in this mortal coil, may he live another 300 years. RIP ^v^

A friend of mine got kicked off the Jenny Jones show because Mr Lewis was making lewd comments toward her.

He noticed her incredible rack and had to comment on it.

Just seen this on the news. 95 was a long time to live. Someone should post a pic of Grandpa's car from the show too.

BUTCH PATRICK IS HERE THIS WEKEND ,WORLD OF WHEELS, HIM AND THE FABULOUS GEORGE BARRIS WERE ON the locl tv this morning, and old butch looks pretty old for his age, the monster coach is in town,grandpa made it to 95, he did alot of baskeball scouting and other things, he always said the munster thing was great it payed for everything he wanted to do otherwise

Ace, that's my favorite Munster's episode, I believe it was titled "Hot Rod Herman" Herman in his 'Punk Rods jacket!

I pretty much don't have a favorite anything (band, car etc...), but the Munsters is my favorite TV show hands down. Howard stern always said great things about Al.

R.I.P Grandpa Munster ! you were such a great person to meet , i met him on more than one gathering , always a down to earth -A crack-up of a guy , i just know you n herman are havin a ball up there ! Thanks for all you did in this life ....

 

He will be missed. He recently had been coming here to town for appearances at a local couple "Munster" house.
