Met David a few times, he was a Nor-Cal resident kinda nearby by late Cyclone Bro-Bob’s. Didn’t hear about this last mo. Got a call today re: Bonneville News, & he was part of it........

Sorry to hear this. In another life I had a water cooled VW parts and performance business. Primarily mail order. This was pre-internet and our lifeline was the various magazines catering to that crowd. David photographed and wrote the articles on several of our project cars that were featured in the media of that era. I reconnected with him in the hot rod world a number of years ago but had not seen in him in quite a while. A very nice and talented guy. RIP.
