We rode in quite a few parades with grandpa from a few to all 17 grandkids then on to a pile of great-grandchildren. Christmas parade 1983 and Memorial Day Parade 2017. He originall bought this 1930 Model A as his farm truck from his childhood friend and brother-in-law for $50 and half a pig.

That is so cool. I used to do that 40 years ago with my 36 pick-up but couldn't get half as many kids in there as your grandpa could with the flatbed. Today we would probably both be in a jail cell if we tried it.
