Richmond Gears-------Motive

A customer just brought a new set of gears for me to put in his 9". I told him to get Richmond Gears. Opened the box up and a Motive instruction sheet fell out. Looked at the box again and it said Made in Italy.

Anyone know anything about this?

 

Motive is the only brand of gear I will use anymore, so you will be fine.

 

id take motive over Richmond any day...

 

Apparently they're the same. That's kinda what I was wondering about, if the two companies are related in any way.

So Motive makes all of the Richmond products?

 

I dealt with Richmond in the 80's. Good people back then. Today, Motive has vendors all over eBay selling their gears.
