Does anyone have any idea what hp or torque a Richmond 4-speed can handle? Like the ones you can buy from summit or jegs. I can't seem to get a response from anyone on this.

Just curious , but wouldn't a max torque rating be more applicable than a H.P. rating?

most manual transmissions can easily exceed their factory ratings,ie the t-56 is rated for like 440ft lbs but can handle way more.

if i remember lots of t-5 were rated at 295-300tq and the 5.0 mustang had 300tq stock
