That is one awesome Hotrod...alot of technical know how involved in that stuff. Amazing to think the genius in designing and manufacturing of this factory stuff. Then you have these Hotrod folks(many also genius's) tearing into thier genius jalopyizing (mixing it up) it and creating more powerful and efficient stuff. Not always successful as eluded but other times record breaking. Definately a huge influence on the hobby we enjoy today. Thanks for sharing this @Jive-Bomber.

Great video! ... Thanks for sharing!

On a side-note: Earlier this month, the restored Spurgin-Giovanine Roadster was back in its natural habitat ... running around El Mirage (under its own power) :D:

The car from when I got to see it many years ago under construction in Ventura California. Me in the white shirt at the end. I have posted some of these before but I don't think I had shown at least some of these. I have more, see if I can find them. B

@Mac the Yankee if you go to Jimmy Shine's Instragram page, there is a video or two of it running and driving. Sounds awesome

What a superb tribute to an amazing bunch of guys who produced a car that achieved so much in a short space of time.

@Jimmy B I can see why you've set out on the path you have traveled for all these years. This is an amazing car, truly inspiring, the car, the people and the legacy that is the SG roadster.
