Features Restoring 1950s Ford F1 Pickup

    I painted it with rust protector paint. Welded it and when the cab is finished I will put wax on it from the top of the cab floor.

    Started to build up a tent for the F, so that I can work on it over the winter months

    just curious,where are you working at?is this your home or an apt complex,i could not tell over the months ive been watching your build,your lucky to have the room to put up your tent to work in,also wanted to say thanks,ive been sort of copying your work and ideas on my on 50 f1,has saved me tons of time,again thanks for doing such a great job on your truck and mine,ha!-mick

    It's the building of my father's company, so I can work there after work or on the weekends.
    But also I living there.

    It's great to hear that I can help you with my restoration report

    Had to post an update.
    Received the bed parts from sandblasting und the bed frame from powder-coating.
    Primered the bed parts after sandblasting.
    Replaced the sheet metal on the cowl/a-pillar
    Removed the cab of the frame. I has to weld a little from the underside.
    After that the cab goes off to the sand blaster.

    Keep up the good work....I'm watching with interest. What are your plans for the suspension, drop axles? stock stuff?

    3" Dropped Axle and 3" dropped leaf springs in the front and the rear

    Test-mounted the glasfiber fenders

    The gaps between the fender and the cab seems to be ok after modified the running boards

    There is supposed to be welting that goes between the fender and cab to fill that gap.
