Now there is a man that lived a full and productive life! He has certainly left his mark in our hobby leaving behind many custom cars that many are very proud to own. Rest in peace Mr. Hines.

His work ethic at his age, and matter of fact humility was what I admired. He was willing to pass on his knowledge and he built what he thought was cool with his own hands. Condolences to his family and friends, guys like him leave a big hole when they leave.

Heard the news a little while ago and was crushed.
I regret never meeting him, but have always admired him and his work from when i was just a kid.
There will never be another like him thats for sure!

What a story, I think the cigars filtered the lead fumes out of the air.

  27. Amazing man, never got to meet him. Always admired his work. I'm more into traditional hot rods than customs, but I've always been impressed with his workmanship.
