I have a 33 coupe with a straight front axle.
I hate the way it rides and would like to change it.
What is the cheapest way to convert to a-arm and still
    look good?

  2. Cheapest way is a old Corvair or Mustang II,,both look like crap and are not traditional at all.

Maybe you just need a new front spring and some new kingpin bushings. HRP

  3. Fenders or no fenders? No fenders there isn't going to be much that will look right. But as far as cheap mustang II is about all there is.

Oh and HRP is correct about just fixing what you got. You don't own a Lexus you won an antique Ford.

What exactly do you have for a front end, is it Ford style with cross spring? Pictures would help. Something as simple as swapping in a new Posies front spring will make a world of difference.

There is no way. You have a straight axle car... Drive an old car and enjoy it for what it is!
