Just a reminder... The nostalgia race that was rained out on Sept. 27 has been rescheduled for OCTOBER 25, 2009. 1/4 mile racing program and 1/8th mile for hot rods that want to make some passes.

We'll be there with our willys pickup. We only had a chance to get it out once at the willys home run so this will be a good end of the season event for it.

[IMG] The weatherman predicted good weather for Sundays race and he was right. The sun was shining by eight AM., and drying out the previous nights rain fall. There was a little something for everybody, as this was a rescheduled race for The Cam Snappers. There was also some import cars and bikes that were making up one of their rainedout dates. I will post a few photos I took today of the nostalgia cars in attendance. This nice little Model A was getting teched in for the hot rod class.

[IMG]Ray Helgar is adding yet another dragster to his stable of race cars. This one is going to be a injected Chevy on NITRO for the Pro Comp class. Ray is talking to chassis builder David Beard about chassis updates.

[IMG] Here is my car the BRADY & MAHAN altered resting between runs. There has been no rest for Brad Studley who is pitted next to me. He has completed two chassis' since debuting them at the Alter Boys show last month, and has orders for several more. This is going to be a fun class for next year. There were a lot more nice cars there, but I did not have a chance to get pictures of them. If someone else has pictures please add them.

    Church key,
This was only the second time that we have had the truck out since it's completion. We will have it back again next year.

Jared, I did not see Vaughn or Fast Eddie, I know Eddie has more to do to finish his dragster.

The track was excellant... I thought the heavy rains from the night before may cause some problems, but they had the track prepped very well.

Cool looking truck... Did you get any more pictures? There was a orange sports car, kinda Kellison looking with a V8 motor that sounded great, went by in the pits, but I did not have my camera with at the time. I sure would like to see a picture if anybody got one it.
