Hot Rods Remember Flare Paint Jobs

    Found some old pics of my 57 Chevy. I believe they were take in 69' and 70'. Not sure if they were called flares or faded. That's before I went to Viet Nam , with chains and after I returned with Ansen wheels. My dad did a lot of mods while I was gone. Paint was applied by a nice little shop in Destin Beach Florida in 1969 while I was stationed at Hurlburt Field working on Skyraiders. PICT0649.JPG PICT0798.JPG

    all the custom fade paint schemes from the "custom truck factories" in the 90s almost ruined them for me

  10. I didn't know Flordia got snow. I did see snow flurries in Northern Flordia when I drove truck down there some 15 years ago though. Bruce.
