Is it possible to get a set of steel brake drum relined/rebuilt (lack of better word)? I got my rear drums that are bad, and can't find any for a decent price. Only found 1 place that sells them and at 122 buck a piece seems a little steep for this poor boy. Can't find a used set for sale anywhere unless someone has a pair laying around they are willing to part with?

That's the problem with old cars, some of the parts are expensive. I've never heard of anyone adding metal back to worn out drums.

Hey, it could be worse...have you priced getting spark plugs replaced on a late model car at the dealer lately? makes spending $250 to fix your brakes sound like a bargain
