  3. Man. I dig the exhaust system. That's the right way to do the dumps. I'd love a rid ing that with the dumps open, I bet the Tin Indian sounds great.

Very cool. When I was in high school (pre-HAMB for me) and I first saw this car at Kalamazoo, I quipped that "Regret" must refer to replacing the 389 with a SBC (I was not very tactful back then). I'm very glad to see it come a full circle!

Matt- AWESOME dude. My favorite sedan of all time. Can you post some full vehicle pics? I see it has proper wishbones on the front now...

Hope you guys are doing well,

Better take a look around the shop and see if you can find that pedal you misplaced. It should be right in the vicinity to the Borg Warner 4spd, Hurst shifter and Lakewood scattershield (you know just like a proper 389 should be equipted). And you guys are SUPPOSED to be Hot Rodders. I'll bet when you decided to whimp out and loose the paint stick it was easy to justify the auto. One compromise just leads to another, right?
On second thought, it's probaby better this way 'cause if you were to suffer a heart attack from too much excitement Obamacare would probably deny you any treatment for engaging in such foolishness.:(

Glad to see that it is in. It is like a puzzle that finally has its missing piece.

I hope to see you guys soon for the frame work.

Sounds like that is a great old car with a history- has the history of this car previously been posted?

That is an old thread I started a few years ago. It is also in the Old School Rods book by Alan Mayes and Kathy Ridley just wrote a book about her dad Bill Waddill who set B gas national record in 1958 at OKC Nats.

Frank, it will one day have a four speed and fenders with the 36 axle under it, but for now....

It will see the track this summer!!

Brent, if you keep looking you will see I play more than one!:D Thanks Bro.

    Appreciated, thanks man.

It was named Regret by John Spatrisono's wife due to the amount of money that was spent on the 389.

Dad wanted me to let you know Frank that he has the scatter shield, Borg Warner and Factory Hurst shifter waiting in the wings :D

I forgot to mention the planned roll up green glass, replacing the screw in clear lexan.

You coming to the show in Lansing at the end of the month? All of Bill's cars will be there.

Thanks guys. Here are a few more shots, Pops took these yesterday and today. Got the new top wood in today.

Back in '58 the Conquerors car club of Lansing put on a show, they did it again in 08 and are having another show at the end of this month at the Lansing Center. It was a super good show in 08 but lacked spectators, this year is going to be even bigger and all of Bill's cars will be on display.
