Customs refub'ing a 1950 Cadillac emblem?

I'd rather not pay the ~$200 on eBay for a Caddy crest emblem from the early 50's -- especially since I need two of them. Any ideas on how I could refurb them? Mine are in pretty rough shape.

Have you tried McVey cadillac in kansas city or Cadillac reproductions in Missouri? I don't know how much can be done after there ''crazed''.
