reds positive Right?

    Really! Lol 38 ford 6 volt should be positive ground right? Thought all 6 volt fords up to 53-55ish were positive ground I'm not a restorer I'm a hot rodder so excuse my ignorance

    Ford was 6 volt positive ground until around '55.
    I wouldn't pay too much attention to the color of the wires. The battery should have a raised plastic "+" and "-" on it. Just confirm that the cable from the "+" goes to a ground.

    Yea I was goofin with the red thing just things actin weird I think narrowed it down to a bad siolniod or maybe its 12v not 6volt?
     
  4. 6V when hooking up a battery is easy, one post is larger than the other.
