Can anybody recommend a shipper that they have used and are happy with. I am shopping around trying to find a shipper for my soon to be car and all the companies i deal with seem really friendly, then i google them and read horror stories about them.

I just had a COE truck shipped WI to NY from a guy named jason. Found him on Uship.com. He was incredibly! thorough and informative. Reasonable price and FAST! Picked up the truck on Weds and to my door thursday afternoon. his email is [email protected]

  3. I like BenD. Don't know if he is still doing it but a quick PM will answer that question for you.

did you do a search here on this? covered many times-check vendors section too. most shippers will promise you anything to get your $$.

good luck with your project (car shipping) I never had a gray hair on my head until i tried having a car shipped from Spokane WA to Aberdeen WA. If it had not been for the help and coolheaded hamber Chris,i think i would have been in the asylum by now.next time i will just fly from Aussi to the States and deliver the car in person.will be less stressful and probably cheaper in the long run
I did try two carriers on the hamb, ben and another guy but neither could help at the time

Do not ever use some gypo that has/had a company called showtime pro-formance motorsports, guys name is Glynn Crooks out of Helfin Alabama, damages cars and then never pays the damage, has happened to several people. For cross country or out of the country moves I use Horseless Carriage out of Jersey, they'll take care of paper and container work.

    Badpat,

You might try to contact Thomas Sunday & Co. I had them haul a vintage sprint car to Northern California back in August. The driver was coming from the Northern East coast. He called me daily and always gave me a "heads up" where he was at.

He arrived at my house within 5 to 10 minutes of his estimated arrival time. Very friendly and careful with handling and loading the car. He was hauling some very high end cars for the Pebble Beach auctions. He called me as soon as he got there and took care of everything.

Try intercitylines.com and [email protected] for a quick quote.

Enclosed transporters, door to door service.

One of the Intercity rigs will be on "Chasing Classic Cars" tonight, 12/21 transporting a Duesenberg to the Gooding Auction in Monterey last August.

  18. This is the HAMB. Use the HAMB-O-Dex and support a HAMBer.

BenD, racinman and StevieG have all hauled cars for me. Never a problem.
