Wow, from the looks of that left quarter and trunk cancer, I'd say its parts only.
I'd sawzall off the entire roof and hope it gets used on a 4 dr to 2 dr conversion. Doors are rotted but maybe saveable/worth getting. Front fenders and trunk lid may save too. I'd nab the seat frames and any interior parts that are left; dash, garnishes, etc.

Once you do that, look for a cheap 4 dr and you'll have most of the parts to hammer it into a 2 dr custom.

Ive got a 1950 Ford parts car that the rear and roof were crushed by a tree years ago. I'll sell it to you cheap, you can use the upper rear and roof off that car and make one good one. Right up the street in southern NH.

I think you would be doing a great service to our Country, your State and the environment by removing that and restoring the natural environment.
I think I'd do it at night.

By the time you pay for your time/tools/gas getting it out of there and the extra titling costs, you prolly could buy something fixable for about the same money.

Maybe it's about the adventure and story?

There is an old abandoned shoebox in some local trails that used to be a dump. I think it's half crushed and I don't think there is anything of value left to it anymore... makes me sad everytime I ride by it :(

There is also a rock garden with re-bar! :)

ask around and if no one ownes it , and make sure! go take it do something with it or part it out its a shame to let it go to dirt . in most states you have to be the titled owner to report it stolen . just a thought i`m not saying steal it !

Call me crazy , but that '49 is a mess  ! I'd grab any small bits that might be usable/saleable & leave the carcass to finish turning back into earth ...
