    Never knew that. :)
I’m a city guy originally, now I live in a very rural small town with heavy agriculture. The old lady who was cleaning out her shed has lived here forever, so I don’t doubt the feed store use.

I had been asking him for a couple years to sell me this Realtor sign. His wife’s dad owned the business, so he would never sell. I asked him about it again, and he took me out back to find about 5 of them. He said they found them in his father in laws basement. The Blackhawk wars took place in the area I live BTW.
The running light in brand new, still in the box.
The Pontiac ice cream scoop was a cheap cool find

  3. I remember those Running Lights, probably from around the early to mid '60s. Kind of an early attempt at a daytime running light. Just a single lamp mounted in the center of the grille. Not a bad idea but never really caught on very well, around here at least.

  4. I have a pair of Yankee’s that look almost identical still in the box. I think they could be a little earlier than 60s. They came with a lever, switch and wiring to use as back-up lights.

My neighbor threw this old surfboard away the other day. I spent about an hour cleaning old sand and wax about 1/4" thick and it cleaned up pretty well.

I’m always dragging something or other home. Here’s a quick sample of the recent finds.

That touring car sold for $200?! Wow, and I thought I'd hit some great auction scores. That's insane cheap. Kinda shocking the guy who bought it didn't bid up the rest of the pieces, unless those pieces sold first.

It didn't work. So I dropped it off to the clock man. I got it back today. The words scroll from --TUNE UP WITH--CHAMPION--SAVE GAS--

Won these in an auction and picked them up today.

These are each 2 by 2 feet, from the hometown (and time period) of the infamous Ed Gein.

And this thing, which I'm generally not much into sports stuff but this was too cool and it was only 25 bucks. About 24 feet long, that's a 41 Cadillac for scale. Lawrence University is in Appleton, Wisconsin.

  29. Not that big a deal, but a really nice V8 emblem- held in by 2 threaded bolts, not sure what it is off of, haven’t looked into it yet. Going to start with a ford truck grille badge, but we will see. EC5E9509-3C2C-4658-B837-1695138733AE.jpeg
