Up for your review is the "HOLY GRAIL" of all V-8s - my Candy Orange Prisma Metalflaked '58 Chrysler 392 HEMI engine which has been rebuilt specifically for a blown application. Actual cubic inches after cylinder bore of .060 is 410. This engine block is the very sought after A-1. Bottom end can easily handle up to 1,200 horsepower as explained by the shop owner, Joe Bergeron and his son, Shawn who meticulously built this power plant at Daytona Auto Designing in Daytona Beach, Florida unlike most machine shops.

Note the main caps which were custom made for this very engine, made out of billet aluminum and splayed for 4 bolt mains. These main caps are much taller than the originals and could not bolt down a high performance oil pan purchased from a belated company called PAW Industries in California. So my engine builder found an original high performance oil pan and modified it as shown in my pictures. Holds more than 7 quarts and is simply BEAUTIFUL - should be pinstriped in white!

All edges on this engine has been chamfered, coated throughout with GLYPTAL which creates excellent oil flow throughout the engine. Features an Erson high performance camshaft with solid lifters. On most supercharged applications, pistons are always forged which mine are, and chose to stay with steel rods for STRENGTH instead of forged ones. Block has been o-ringed as well. Heads have been treated to a Stage II porting and polishing, which Joe Bergeron mentioned that he was so happy with the flow of these heads that he modified the valves to 1.6 ratio on BOTH intake and exhaust as shown in the photos and features head studs as pictured. These heads flow as excellent as the aftermarket aluminum ones! The valve train assembly has been carefully machined at the base so there is absolutely no bind whatsoever, been powder coated and has dual valve springs. Please note: THE SUPERCHARGER AND BLOWER MANIFOLD IS NOT INCLUDED [IMG] - SHOWN FOR PHOTO PURPOSES.

YES, the magneto you see in the first picture is a GENUINE VERTEX magneto, not a fake one, costing over $1,100 alone. All of the polished aluminum jewelry you see on this engine is top rate, sparing no expense for nostalgia lovers like myself! Genuine MOON no-name polished valve covers, painted with the orange metal flake within the fins. Shown with 4 MOON tall breathers that have a modified base designed by the engine builder so these breathers stand straight up like on the Donovan valve covers (if you know your hemi's)! The valley pan is also polished aluminum and painted with orange metal flake. Polished aluminum timing cover and big block Chevy polished water pump for MUCH better water flow than Chrysler. Also has a polished aluminum 100 amp alternator with internal regulator that you can barely see in the first photo.

This is the PERFECT engine for nostalgia drag racing, running a 6-71 supercharger, hilborn injection or just running a multiple carburetor setup for the street as well, needing a few parts to fire this baby up! Since this engine is VERY HEAVY, I believe 750 lbs., I am including the engine dolly with casters to roll this engine easy. You DO NOT want this engine to stay idle on an engine stand, for it will start to bend as I have already witnessed firsthand at the machine shop. The engine will be safe on the dolly, picked up locally with your pickup truck, van, etc or will crate up to ship within 4 days. International buyers: Just give me 4 days to build a crate that will help me ship this awesome beast if necessary!
