So I have a pair of sweet headlight cans (I think off a 37 Chevy) that I want to run on my car, but they are just the cans. Has anyone ever rebuilt headlights? What all does it take? I realize a light, and a trim ring, etc. But is it a real pain finding parts since I don't really know what these are. What keeps the light in there? the trim ring?? Thanks for any advice, or suggestion.

You should be able to get most everything you need from Chevs of the 40s. I know they kits to install sealed beams and trim rings.
