Does anyone have a diagram of a Rebel wire harness fuse panel layout. There is no description in the directions of which fuse is which circuit for the fuse panel. Pretty frustrating that it does not come with a description or picture or diagram of of the panel. AND I cannot get through the Captcha system they have to email them at Rebel Wire. Thanks for any help anyone can provide.
9+3 kit. No diagram or explanation of fuse panel. I know I could take the time and ohm out every fuse and wire,, but a picture or diagram of the fuse panel seems like a reasonable request.
I used one for my P/U. I'll see what I have but did you call tech support? Seems like they could send you one easy peasy.
In wiring kits you get what you pay for, nothing against the maker of Rebel,it's inexpensive and they will get you up an running but when I used one all I got was frustrated,I had to buy additional pieces to do the job. Today I use American Auto Wire and although it ain't cheap everything you will need is in the box including the most complete and thought wiring instructions,in color! HRP
Weren't the wires already coming out of the fuse box ? I put one in my Henry J and don't remember any problems with it but sometimes I have CRS too.
my kit came with a printed stick on lable diagram of the fuse layout. I just went to my coupe to copy it and the ink has faded and I can't read it.
No problem, it’s sitting on my work bench for now. Since I know they fade-away I may look for a better solution.
Good idea, I’ll also have to rearrange the order of the circuits because I mounted my panel upside down on the passenger side rather than the driver’s side.
If I could have seen Rebel's instruction sheets up front, I may have considered them. I wound up with Kwik Wire, I was able to download anything I needed to see before I spent my $$. After the fact seeing Rebel's instructions, I made the correct choice.
I have followed some of your post Bob396 and you seem more of a American Auto Wiring to me! Guess it depends on the project.............................................
I had a few questions when I installed the 9+3 in the 38 Chevy and had excellent response from the tech line/email. It appears the little card for the fuse panel either got lost or omitted when it was packaged as I have a second fuse panel for the Studebaker and it had the little card included.
As far as I’m concerned I will not deal with Kwik wire ever. I looked at their online stuff and submitted a tech question regarding a product they sold. I never received a response from them and then weeks later they started sending me emails promoting their stuff based on the fact that they had tracked my visit to their website. But still no answer to my tech question. Which I had asked in 2 of their website contact forms. In my opinion they were spam bombing me. I sent them an email explaining how they dropped the ball with me and never heard anything else. I then contacted Jeremy at Rebel wire and he was more than helpful. He answered all of my questions and he modified my 9+3 kit to work with my specific components essentially building me a custom harness. He even added labels to the bundles indicating where they went to help me out. After that the tech support was second to none. Any question I had he was right on it. Correct choice is a matter of opinion, but I think there’s a lot more to it than just being able to download some pictures. Along with the support Rebel offers the instructions are more than adequate Jeremy (Rebel) went over and above anything Kwik wire offered.
