I was wondering could I use a model A front spring for the rear suspension along with shocks? I am building a 1926 Chrysler coupe on a model A frame. any help with this would be great.

Ok let me try this again...I am looking at buying a super glide front cross spring and use it in the rear becase Im trying not to "z" the frame. I saw an episode of RIDES with burbank choppers and I believe they also used a front cross spring for the rear. any ideas on that?

a lot of people use front springs on the back, instead of the high arch. but, usually it is a 40s spring. a front model A spring is too short.

I was going to run a 40 front spring on my rear, still have it if you want it pm me, but decided to just z it. anouther option to lower it without zing it is to run a spring behind axle set up like on 32 and older fords and run a 40 spring.
