Hot Rods Rear shocks mounting length

    Working on getting the T Bucket read--- I need to know what rear shock with loop on both ends should I get with a mounting length of 11.5" how much jounce is needed.. >> ???

    I'd not worry about more than 2" extra length. You can go to Monroe shock's chart and they have a great resource that shows the type and size of the ends, and the min-max length of travel. Then once you have the part number you can buy them, or cross reference them to whatever brand shock you need.
    I use their chart all the time for my builds.

    Depends on how soft your suspension is. On my A-V8 with stock suspension I use a 9" shock mounted with Pure Hotrods lower mounts and home fabricated upper mounts to obtain an 11.5" length.

    I'd shoot for 3"-4" travel
