Technical Rear panel repair '39 Tudor sedan

    Hello. I am in the process of replacing/repairing the rear panel and tool tray area of my 1939 sedan.

    I'm more concerned about the areas pictured below where the bumper supports come out. They are kinda mangled particularly the drivers side.

    Any one have any suggestions to repairing this area?

    And the tool tray as well?

    Cut good ones off a doner body or cut off and fab replacements.

    Mine was not that bad but I bought a pan from Dennis Carpenter and formed the tool area from steel sheet. You will have to do the same for the areas on both sides of the pan.
    If a donor car has those areas intact, I doubt it`s a donor car...
    That is the prime location for rust on those particular cars.

    Thanks for the info guys. I have the tail pan. I think I can salvage the passenger side with what's there.
