I am working on my 1936 chevy p/u. i have got the front end down as low as i want it and am now trying to figure out the rear end. What set up would be best for this to be a daily driver. I have been thinking that i want to change the size of the humps in frame then get some straighter leaf springs or run a four link with coil-overs. Let me know what you guys think and what you have tried.
    thanks

C the frame and lowering blocks? '60's truck arms with bags? I would avoid coil-overs!!

  4. Take the leaf packs apart, clean the springs with a wire wheel and remove the second and fourth longest leaves. Apply a light film of lithium grease to the remaining leaves and reassemble. Check the ride height and add or subtract leaves as necessary to get it where you want. Unless you're really hammering it on launch, this usually works well.
