Technical Rear end ratio advice

3.73 - to toss another vote onto the pile.
I just put 3.73 in my 57 (with a 383). Seems like the ticket.

 

Now I need to find a 3:73. If you know of one in Central Texas, give me a shout. And thanks for the advice and math on this, guys.

 

Your talking about changing the carrier correct? You cant put 3 series gears on a 2 series carrier without the use of a spacer which I don't recommend.

 

With my limited skills, replacing the entire rear end is a lot easier and simpler.
