I know there's nothing earth shattering or particularly hard to pull off, but damn I love this Steve Stanford '62 Chevy. It sorta has the same vibe as Jimmie Vaughan's '62 Caddy.
....Almost..Just about the same time that I was getting my "Report for Induction" notice, I got into an Air National Guard squadron and spent 9 years there. Luckily avoided a "vacation" in Southeast Asia.
I am trying convince Chick to make some changes to her roadster to look like this one from Weezie But I would like to have this one
I like this Uncertain T / Leg Show car by Steve Stanford. Why I'd even send the cut off parts from my T coupe chop to someone who would build it.
I have held the original art in my hands such an awesome piece of art! It was being built but the project was sold and new owner took it a different direction. This does need to be built by someone....
@Drewfus drew this in pen and ink and colors for me. I have all the parts for it including the Jimmy. Sent from my SM-J337V using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
I don't know if this has already been built but I love it! A 29 sedan with a 4" chop and 4" taken out of the quarters to keep the proportions right. I have a neighbor 4 doors down from me with a 29 sedan project at a very attractive price. You'd need to shorten the frame for this one.
But the one I'd really like to see [in my driveway] is this black coupe drawn by our ol buddy, Jeff Norwell
...BubbEl Camino... Just an Extensive Digital Inspiration I did on an El Camino...Altered Wheelbase, Chopped, Modded Trim, Radius-ed Rear Wheel-wells, Bubble Hatch, Tailgate, Chrome Reversed, WW Firestone PieCrusts, Plexi Rear Wheel Well Skirts...I'd make room for one in my Garage... Way back in the 80's I saw a concept drawing, I thought was Steve Stanford's, but could have been Thom Taylor's. It was an Oldsmobile, converted to a Nomad style wagon. Been on my mind for a long time. My buddy Vic Collins (Kopper Kart clone) did a 1/24 scale model of it, and Jim Laga recently did a Photoshop, as did some of out Photo wizards here on the HAMB. Bugged me so much I dec ided to actually build one! In progress now, body is mostly done, and chassis is being worked on.
I can't remember what I was watching seems like Back From The Dead with Ian Roussel, sign painer/pin stripper Scratch was starting to build a Weeser Cherry Pie
If you remember, I actually started this Sedan project. I put it in storage when I started playing at Bonneville. I still have all the parts for it however!
One of these days, I'm gonna build my Lakes RPU... ... high output chicken and all. I already have the chicken.
