This is good news. I was beginning to think that we had seen the last of Real Wheels after finding that the origional owner wasn't going to do them anymore.

I see your point. It's true that our wheels that are still in the design phase are indeed Classified.

Good news indeed. I have a set that I got from Eric nine years ago and have always wondered what would happen if I crashed one. Hope this all works out without any glitches. I have already mailed the link to several friends. Tim

I'd like to see some of Ron's 16 and 18 inch wheels in aluminum instead of magnesium. And at a price better than $1400 per corner.

For those who aren't familiar with them, Ron Blondel is a gentleman in California who likes to play with old Indy cars. He also makes very limited-production magnesium racing wheels under the name of Kittyhawk Racing. When he told me what he was doing, to help him get more exposure I offered to create this Web page for him:

    http://www.roadsters.com/kittyhawk/

As many of you know, the style of wheel pictured above is what the PS Engineering and American Racing Salt Flats Special (aluminum, two-piece, polished-rim) wheels were loosely patterned after.

Please bear in mind that I have been asked not to divulge what exactly we're working on. We are however very interested in hearing from other hot rodders and racers who have an interest in seeing specific styles and sizes of wheels being made available. If you have and questions or suggestions, please call me at (602) 233-8400. Thanks!

The wheels seem a little pricey $$$$$$$. For that price I hope they are what peeps have been talk'in about. As for your events to show the wheels, they have a big showing for the Burbank Road Kings car show at the Santa Anita Race Track around that time in October. I could be wrong. I will get info back to you as soon as I talk to my contact. I have a '53 Plymouth wagon that those would look bitch'in on. What are the specs on the offset and spacing and lug pattern? I have also a '54 Chrysler Windsor that I am in the process in getting from a friend of mine that they would look good on. KNUX

I would also like to see them available without windows

I also think a 15x7 would be nice in the Real wheels for those who want a narrow wheel on the rear. (to fit under a fender)

    Just suggestions

    No, don't make smooth wheels.

Not everything needs to be reproduced. Go ahead and repro your big windows, but leave the smoothies alone.

(But if you do some, let me know when you have a 16x4.5 size ready)

A friend of Kieth Tardel (Rex Rods) is producing the windowless wheels. So I guess that blows it...

You could try to get the info at Rex Rods.

Reply to yours. I was not comparing the $ of the wheels to any other. Just a little $ for me and what I am looking for. I would like them, no doubt about that, they are friggin killer looking for sure!!! I am going to use my stocker steels and I am having a friend of mind rig up a way to put on the Merc dog dish caps that I just bought. I basically want to go for the low buck 'ol school look that I am shooting for. Thanx for the info for the wheels and the specs. I will check it out. For sure in the future I would love to pick up a pair for both my rides. KNUX
