I picked up a complete 6x2 setup for a small block chevy. The guy that I got it from said that he had it laying around for 30+ years. It appears that this is an original intake, carbs, linkage & fuel line from the late 1950s. Setup: SBC Offenhauser 6x2 intake manifold 6 Stromberg 97 carburetors 1 EELCO linkage setup 1 EELCO 6 port fuel log 6 WITTEK thumb screw hose clamps Check out the attached pictures details of the The fuel log stamped "EELCO" and "PAT. PEND." and also has a small 1"x.5" EECLO sticker that shows a little red track roadster. The WITTEK hose clamps are dated 2/1959. I have also uploaded a picture of a "EELCO Decal" which is very similar to the logo on my fuel log. I could not find any dates on the intake manifold. Is there any way to tell an early Offenhauser manifold from a more recent one? Is this a real 1950s intake, carbs, linkage & fuel log? Thanks, Andy
I could probably whip up a copy of the fuel rail in about an hour if I had a lathe and a Bridgeport...
The pics you show are old parts. No doubt in my mind, anyway. Edit; I also have NOS Eelco linkage kits that were from pre 1962 when the last owner quit racing. Put up a pic of yours.
Just my opinion, your linkage is older than mine. I still have a original carton with drawings of the indivdual pieces. I'll have to look at each piece. Tommy is up on the old clamps and pieces.
Restoration supply company has thumb screw clamps that are close. I bought a few NOS Eelco clamps several years ago. They came 2 to a card along with the brass fittings. I saved the cards after I put them on my 34 P/U. Hard to see here but I have gotten some nice comments from the guys that know.
