You know how it is when you embark on a Car Build, in this case Restoration project.... Sometimes by the end the parts cars & left over parts kinda stack-up. I'm getting thru some '55/'56 Chrysler Imperial & "300's" for a customer and part of the 'aftermath' is a lot of unusable (to us) 4 - door car stuff. For example some nice looking aluminum trim... Hmmmm... Had this pretty little Thames Panel at the upholstery shop but when it came back the door sills just looked unfinished to it's owner.. He asked for aluminum, I thought plain would look too, well "custom"... I came up with this instead.. What do you think, better than plain polished?? The Thames is obviously a Stocker/Resto with a few "liberties" taken...

  2. Looks very nice, and could pass for a factory part instead of "custom". :)
