What a great idea. I just got the new Rodders Journal, and I can't get enough of the "AS IS" milestone car features. The Ala Cart and Sam Barris' Merc are in there, and it is COOL. Nice job on your story too Ryan. It sure would've been nice to see Doyle's '32 roastin' those slicks! Do they take points off at Pebble Beach for little melted balls of rubber under the fenders?
I don't know about Pebble Beach, but at Hershey the "mint marks" on race cars are overlooked as far as deductions are concerned. If the top was ground off of a hand brake lever on a midget roll over and slide, it is part of racing history and should be left alone.
