    Here's a weird issue I've got:

    I'm planning on driving my roadster down to the Rattle Can Nationals and Hot Rod Reunion, leaving tomorrow morning.
    Here's the snag:
    My wife and Mom are picking me up in Bakersfield on Saturday, and I'm going down to Orange Co. for my GodDaughters 1st birthday ( I can't miss this one...)
    Is anyone from the Bay Area going down to the CHRR with a trailer that might have space to take my Model A back up? Maybe someone is dropping off a car in Bako and has an empty spot for the way back?
    Otherwise, maybe I should just catch a ride down. [IMG]

    Thanks,

    jay

    Zibo... Real driver's remember to put their oil plug in before refilling the crank case [IMG]

  8. So THATS what the oil slick in the parking lot was about!
    Thanks to you two, the state is whole lot oilier.
    Ah, memories...
    everyone driving behind Framedragger-Mike sliding out of control;
    beer, burgers, brats, beer, cherries-marinated-in-Jack-Daniels-served-on-the-end-of-a-bowie-knife, beer, in a rest stop on the side of I-5;
    Zibo/Travis' mind-numbing artistic RPU, anyone who hasnt seen it, youre missing something;
    KV/TV' bitchin deuce roadster with most of the ideas stolen out of my head (howd they do that?).
    Just another hot rod weekend.

  9. the show was rad. we had a killer drive both there and on the way home, met some cool people-most of them were legends! ZIBO has put together a killer little roadster pickup that performed excellent this trip out. most of the bugs were worked out by the time we headed home. thanks again to everyone who helped us out. heres the link to the pictures i took of our trip. Wow...what an incredible weekend! So many great rides, drivin all over the central valley between Hanford and Bako...then the races! OH my Gawd! My mind is going faster than I can think...

    Met some really nice like-minded people. Ricky, Travis/Zibo-bitchen roadster p/u-you guys got sand- Jimmy, His A-v8 coupe runs like stink! Randy's black duece roadster-ridin behind that quickchange is mind blowin. Framedraggr---or is that pandragger now---your too cool. Homer's 3win...gotta love it. RCN and BAko was one of the best trips--you guys made it for me! I know I'll think of more...later!

    I had a great time as well. I met alot of really great people with some top notch cars.

    I hope to make it back next year, and maybe stay a little longer. Maybe I can even talk my dad and brothers into bringing their cars down, they would all fit right in.

    Travis(Zibo) - It was great traveling down with you guys on Friday and hanging out that night. I really liked your RPU. I have been stalled on my project for a month or so, but seeing your p/u got me enthused again.

    Thanks everyone.

    the bummer about that oil thing
    is I was actually not drinking,
    yet
    we just didn't eat...
    and those cherries...

    anyway,

    it was great to meet all the rodders,
    that actually drive there cars.

    to actually talk to and know the people that own the cars
    that i've dreamed of over the years was unreal.
    (lance, tom, keven, jim s, mike (x2), morty,mitch etc etc the list is so long ...)

    thanks to the nealinca group and scott/donny for following
    us the 85 miles and 12 waterstops at snailspace. huge karma points to you all.

    tom and keven, that room was too crazy, thanks for everything.

    team toyota/pan dragger - good luck with the e&j's

    rr62-2004 I'll follow you

    anyway, next year...

    travis aka zibo

    P.S. - lance/homeresque - you inspired me to fix my OD!!
    next year we'll race up there!!

    I rode an 01 Aprilia Millle down- I wanted to get there fast!
    The Roadster was having some issues. I really wish I had gone on to Bako after the Rattlle Can, but had some family commitments...
    I'm going in the roadster next year FO SHO.
