How about a LEON STREAMLINER? It's a dual single barrel with the carbs laying down horizontal. I have one but I haven't figured out how to post the picture! It keeps asking for the URL location????

Not sure how rare this is but its been sitting up in the attic in the shop since the beginning of time. If I remember right its an Edelbrock 3x2, not sure what carbs are on it. Bad pic but maybe someone can tell me something about it?

How are you doing getting a picture posted?

I'm wondering if that manifold was made for side draft Riley racing carburettors similar to the one made by Sandice for the V8-60 if memory serves me correctly.

The carbs for the Leon Streamliner are 4bolt, and have spark arrestors so I think it was for a boat. Haven't had the heart to tackle the uploading stuff. I guess I'm just not that computer literate.

Not sure how rare these two aluminum intakes are but I just bought them off of that auction site. Both are Brand New and 1 of them is still in the original FORD box. Can someone give me a year range? There is a part number but no Ford script...Any info on these would be very helpful. I know I know....I bought them without knowing what they fit but I could not pass them up based on the price...let me know what I got....Thanks

The "C1..." in the part number would indicate that they are a 1961 part number. Maybe they are service replacement parts.

I thought it was the later years they were produced but I will have to do some searching to find out for sure. Those would go great with a set of Canadian Aluminum "cheater" heads.

Edit: Yep 49-53 Canadian flattys had aluminum intakes

Here's my Eddie Meyer that lost its top piece so I built a new one for it. It is stamped, "Sold by Wade Bedell". I learned that he ran an early speed shop in San Antonio back in the '50's, I think.

I had one of those without the fins on one side. I thought it was a lightning but I recently sold it. The guy I sold it to welded fins all the way around it.

Hi,I was looking under old posts about rare ford flathead intake manifolds and someone asked if any one had seen a burns. I have one on a 1929 whippet roadster. The car has a 53 merc. with all early running gear, mostly ford, some early buick drums all the way around and a lot of original whippet parts.
I have put a lot miles on this car!
    Hope the pic. come thru.
