Just got these 37-38 21 stud NOS Cyclones. Looking for a Cyclone intake if anyone has any leads.
Hotton & Sullivan
NOS Eddie Meyer
Nice heads Men!
Where has been made those Hotton Sullivan -heads?
Simple style and not too much ripped. I like that style, looks very old style.
From what year (approx.) those are?
They would have been made post war, Sullivan was an engineer with Ford and helped design the flathead V8 from what I have been able to find out.
Very interesting combustion chamber on those Hotton and Sullivan heads.
I'll bet they sound unique. Thanks for posting Cully.
Andy Hotton owned Dearborn Steel Tubing and built a lot of Ford's race cars including the Fairlane Thunderbolt. http://blog.hemmings.com/index.php/...lts-50th-anniversary-by-building-another-one/
Great I gotta have my nose rubbed in these things on the HAMB too @AldridgeDW !!!!
This is a good looking engine.
Here pics of my L&S racing heads, i bought them years ago from a buddy on here and then traded them to another freind and ended up trading back for them the other day.
Do they have cooling provisions or are they for an alcohol run motor?
Theyve actaully have a home made bolt on water neck, id assume they were originally marine use, ive seen some evan this way before, unfortunatly one is cracked, i have a buddy that is going to weld it up, and ill probably be adding a secont water port on top kinda like the offy v8-60s have. hopefully the weld repair takes.
Damn nice thread!
Here is mine set of KOGEL aluminium heads.
I have seen some cast iron heads but never a pair of alu.
Do someone know more about these?
Another Banger flathead. Maybe not rare but getting harder to find in nice condition. 6.1 crows foot which will soon be back to its original color, yellow.
I am not sure who the Mfg is?? My first throughts were Fenton.

FlatCad . . . have to be 'rare' as we've only made one set!
here's a page out of hot rod magazine's first year. isky made the valve covers and i'm pretty sure the maxi heads were an "f" head design.
here's a 1951 shot of the tattersfield setup. cover engine from "how to hop up ford and mercury v8 engines."
finally, from the bill smith collection (in tex smith flathead book), the smith jiggler conversion.
I've got a pal near me that owns a Smith Jiggler.
I picked these center outlet Evans 21 stud heads recently. Here's a pic.
There was a set of jiggler heads at Hersey this year.
A friend has a set of new old stock center 21 stud Evans heads hanging on his wall. Beautiful.
