Here are some of mine. Let´s see more what, you got for odd heads.
One more of mine
In what condition are your "s" heads ?
I have a set of EXCELLENT "R" heads to swap
Sorry but I got one pair of those to on my roadster whit the org slingshot intake.
But my be something else.
No pictures, but I have a gorgeous pair of Grancor, a couple pair of Fenton, a corroded pair of Harrell, and a single Edmunds Custom looking for it's mate. Can't see myself ever paying money for Edelbrock or Offy.
Not sure how rare but you don't see them as often , block letter Sharp
This thread is gonna cost me lots of pain. I have a weakness for rare flatty heads.
This is the best I can do. No clue what it is. No markings that I can find. I bought a single Ford Denver head too. No idea if they are the same size or not.
I've never seen another set...
Django, I had a pair of heads exactly like the single you posted. They came off a flathead my grandfather had and for some reason he toook them off and replaced them with some iron ones. He gave them to me when I was in highschool and I had them for many years. When I worked at a automotive machine shop for awhile the foreman was looking for some aluminum heads for a flathead he was building for his wife's car and I gave them to him. wish I still had them but at the time if they didn't fit a SBC or BBC I could have cared less.
they were NOS before I bolted them on and started it up.
Weiand High Comp Aluminum Cheater Heads. Just got them from Thunderbirdesque and plan on running them on my '32 Coupe.
None of these are mine....but ya wanted rare....
This thread has me drooling on the keyboard. The closest I can come is a cracked edmunds on my wall at the shop.
Not sure how rare these are, but, here you go anyway....
Weren't people casting these in their back yards at one point?
They are hollow for a water jacket. I doubt people were creating sand castings with an inner core in their backyards (or even home shops).
I'm looking for a pair of Allard 21 stud heads.
Anyone got any pic's ?
Hmmm... well you didn't say it had to be a V8 now did you ?
Certainly not the rarest ones on this thread but I had a HELL of a time trying to find a pair of these weiand 8ba's. The driver's side one is currently out for a spark plug hole repair.
Are those the Canadian heads I've heard about? EGGE machine sells some 24 stud aluminum heads that are stock Ford and I've been thinking of gettting a set.
those heads that say kong on them.. forgive my flathead ignorance but what are they for.. they look cool!!
OH MY GOD I LOVE THESE
AND I LOVE THIS THREAD
I'll try to get some photos when I get over to my folk's house, but I have a pair of earlyish heads that Creighton Hunter ran on one of his flatties. Not too rare, but at least there's some histort behind 'em.
24 stud Flathead Ford....
God... that motor is amazing.
I am a fan of stock looking head compared to the finned counterparts. That's why I picked up those Cheater heads.
Very Nice.....doesn't get much more tastefull then that.
