yeah,,i dont really pay attention to what those guys have to say,,mostly talking out their assess,,,,i havent been watching it, but tunned in for a minit last night & there was a 66 21 window bus, and they went into detail about how ALL older buses came with safari windows(opening windshields) but this one didnt because VW changed them because the seals would dry up and get drafty...

Hell Larry, you made me go on the BJ website and they have the truck listed as a 1932 Model A. I'd say that their proof reader must be getting into the free flowing booze down on the floor.

When that "32 Model A" rolled across the block, the announcer breathlessly announced that it had been upgraded to "drum brakes." Uh....?

Actually there were slightly over 400 model A's made in 1932.
These were actually model A's and NOT 32's with a 4 banger engine.
They were assembled from left over parts from the 31 production.

I wonder how many sellers take a loss on those sales, cost of restoration/build vs sale price and cost of getting the vehicle there. Fun to watch, just add wood to the stove, and get another cup of coffee. Bob

I'm glad I live in the stone ages and don't have any of that fancy digital-cable-sattelite TV stuff.

But everyone likes a 'BJ', Barrett Jackson on the other hand sucks.......just....er.....differently........:p

    Doc.

  18. The prices for some of that stuff is nuts. The first model a coupe I bought a 29 with a olds in it didn't run but cost 15.00. and I'm only 64. You could buy every car Timonium in 76 for the prices of some of this stuff' We came a long way baby.

Gullible, Gullible, Gullible. Tired of hearing about those auctions. They are a black mark to our hobby.

  23. Doesn't make them a 32 model A because of a clerical error or dmv policy. Ford stopped calling them model A's in 31----- just sayin.

  24. Slightly O/T, but I still have to cringe every time the announcers refer to a Plymouth muscle car with a "440 Six-Pak" engine. ONLY Dodge called their tri-power a six-pak...Plymouth called it a "six barrel", or 6-BBL.
