Here is a shot of a steetable Indy roadster I saw at a St. Pete auto museum a few years back - http://www.tbauto.org/about.htm - but I don't think it is still on display there. But my all time favorite is Bill Wentz's 32 sedan. Gary
This is a local Outlaw 10.5/ Dragradial racer Mark Woodruff. This car is packed with a Prolines built twin turbo , electronic fuel injection, Big Block Chevy. It has been 199.97 MPH in the quarter . And he drives it on the street. Very tasteful car with stock style dash. Stock door panels. Stock steering wheel (quick release) , Stock side pipe covers. And stock hood. Car has stock floor pans too. Very nice car. I love seeing stuff like this. The use of asmany stock parts you can.
Thanks a lot!!!! :-/ Now I want to build one of these too!!! My wife will kill me before I get to build one of everything.
When I was about 8 years old my Mom and I were driving down the interstate outside Dallas.... When an bright red Austin Bantem bodied Altered passed us.... Blown Hemi, slicks, zoomies.... I went insane.... I will never forget that. And I hope my Anglia gives some kid the same reaction!!!!
I know where there's a Kellison with vette frame, 283, three strombergs and a 4 speed... was a complete car with Bay Area history... was shown at the Oakland Roadster Show... might be for sale... Sam
How about X race cars? The 80's were fun! That's Vic Young's "Bad News" Willys in the last pic with previous owner Hank driving.
ran the coupe in race trim on the street for a couple of months.. The police were not thrilled with the slicks or the scoop.... Pontiac Slim
