Hey @anthony myrick , I can totally relate to how you feel about that, I owned a kick ass, 56 IHC S-110 retired, Bell telephone lineman's service truck. I bought it from my Dads wrecking yard, when I got out of the army, for $100.00. I fixed the leaking rope seal on the block and drove it for a few years before I sold it, I wished I had never gotten rid of it, it was a lot of fun !

 

Love that smile . . . the truck I mean.

I know exactly what you mean, the 56's were my favorite model, they had that
"VOODOO / TIKI " look of being dumbfounded, long before " TOWMATER " was ever thought of.

 

Yeah there was one in Moulton, I tried to buy just the bed,guy wouldn't sell it. I walked away. Got to thinking about it ,went back he said he crushed it.

 

Some T/F and G/D haulers, plus an interesting newer one that appears to have been built from a boat trailer.

When I took my Cobra down to the track it was Hitched to the back of my Cadillac.

Cobra CSX2427, the only Stage III Dragon Snake factory prepared drag race Cobra. The original owner used his yellow Thunderbird as his tow vehicle.
