I just installed a Speedway Motors straight front axle kit in Robert's 55, he picked it up yesterday and took it back to the paint shop to get the dash and roll bar painted.

Looks great and beautiful welding work. Are those painted panel portions only on the roof or are they on other parts of the car, they are understated but gorgeous.

The lace panels are only on the roof.

  12. Holy shit Robert!!!!!!, just when I thought your car was never going anywhere. Looking good.
Hey Groucho, do like this pic with Robert and his long beautiful hair ? :D

  13. Nice work on Robs car Kevin. Question on the Rollbar. Did you just plate and weld it to the floor or is there also stubs on the underside to mount it to the frame.

Thank's guys. The rollbar is just plated to the floor. We weren't worried about it being NHRA legal. It will work fine if needed. The interior will be buckets with black pleated seats and side panels. There will be a carpeted panel where the back seat used to be.

  21. Thanks for the info.
