We have suffered a tremendous loss of our brother Dick Warsocki founder and art director of our car gang The South Omaha Turds. Dick was a celebrated tattoo artist and freestyle artist who touched a lot of lives. His build of "The Hoodlum" was his build that we showed at The Revolution at the Austin power plant, the coolest show ever in my opinion. He was sent off with an amazing ceremony in a beautiful vintage catholic church with a mixed agenda combining traditional catholic and beautiful Lakota Indian songs and musical prayers. We followed with a super after service party at our Jam'n Gears show site at the G. I. Forum grassy show grounds. R. I. P. brother Dick
Larry, it was good to see you on Saturday, just not under those circumstances. I agree, his send-off ceremony was amazing. The most touching and meaningful funeral I've ever attended. He even planned the whole thing himself, right down to the final 'Happy Trails' song. Rest in Peace, Dick. You will be missed.
There have been some less formal memorialization for Dick here elsewhere however the message is the same... Condolences to the Warsocki family and friends on the passing of Dick. Regards, Stogy
Sorry to hear this. Only had short conversations with him <like how ya doin and nice car. Here is a pic of his Chevy he was building before it caught fire. I`ll try and post some pic`s of him(35 Chevy) and Rob Lee drag rac`in in Salina. I gave the copies I had to both of them.
So long, Tattooer. The Tattoo world, like our Hamb world has been losing to many good people lately. Dick was huge in the tattoo world, known and respected, the world over.
I met Dick at the Spectacular in 2014 when I was walking around checking out the cars at the show. Fell in love with his Chevy. He took lots of time to show me all the neat tricks and cool modifications he had done to the car. It was one of the highlights of the show for me that year. Sorry to hear of his passing. My condolences to his family and friends. Vaya con Dios, Mr. Warsocki..........E
