Quickie Question

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by bottomfeeder pete, Feb 5, 2012.

  1. I am hanging a Quick change ( v8 Halibrand ) in my av8 project my question has to do with spring hangers and torque tube angle. I have my spring hangers done the way CHRIS did his ( cut off of model A housings ) so they are mounted on top right in the center, I am using a model T spring. Is my spring going to be bound up Because of angle difference Between stock banjo and the quick change pinion angles? Has anybody done this, this way?Thanx in advance Pete.

The important thing is making sure the spread of the mount eyes is that of a Model T around 48.5" or so (but verify that), and that it is square with the spring upper mount so no binding occurs.
