Not sure about that one, but I have heard these are good. I just bought one off e-bay.

They look kind of vintage . Bloodyjack used one on his T roadster too.

Part No. FPR006. Regulator/Filter (85 mm transparent bowl). 6-8 mm tails. A mounting kit is supplied with the regulator. Brand new in its box Regularly seen in the motorsport field because of its ability to regulate and filter fuel without restriction.
The Malpassi Filter King is a combination fuel filter and pressure regulator. They are low pressure units for carburetor applications and the output pressure can be adjusted in the range 1.5 to 5.0 P.S.I using turning the slotted adjuster located under the dome nut on the top of the unit. They are designed to be fitted in line between the fuel pump and the carburetor and are supplied with barbed fittings for use with push on hose.

    Specification:

    Pressure Range: 1.5 - 5.0 p.s.i
    Bowl Type: Glass
    Bowl Depth: 85mm
    Fittings: 6/8mm stepped tails
Filter: Pleated paper replaceable element (part number RA002)
    Fuel Pressure Take Off: None

That's a good looking unit. I'm looking for a less expensive one for this project.

If you were talking about the one I bought.

I got it for $38.33 US, shipping is costing me $15.

Doesn't seem all that expensive to me. :)

X2--It can be a china clone of the Holley...But...The last Holley regulator I bought from Summit [higher pressure version, 4/9] took three tries to get a good one, first two were actually asembled wrong..So, you takes you chances..

That is a good price. The one I saw was $75 without shipping. *edit* looking again I found one for around the price you posted. **

I think I'll order the quickfuel one, worst case I'll return it.

    Thanks,

Its been awhile but just wanted to update this; I've had the regulator installed of awhile now and its doing great. Their tech support is very good as well.
