I have a rebuilt 302 ready to drop into my 55 2 dr Customline. I also have a hydromatic 3 speed and a C6. Which would be a better fit and application? Thanks for any help.
The best fit would be an AOD or a C-4,check the picture below of an AOD on the stock crossmember use an Energy Suspension trans mount part# 4-1104G(3rd pic) and its a bolt in,if you haven't got the motor mounts for your 302 the part number is ANCHOR 2725 and ANCHOR 2726 (2nd pic) available at O'Reilly's or Autozone they can order the trans mount if not in stock.
