Has anybody come up against finding quarter window seals for a '37 fordor slantback? Mine are non-opening. would the'36 fordor quarter seals work?

My 37 fordor also had the non-opening rear quarter windows. During my build I obtained a pair of the opening type. But I was unable to find new gaskets/seals. I was talking to a vendor at an event and he told me that nobody made what I needed. But I could cut up seals from another year and piece together what I needed. I did this but it took two seals to make up one seal like I needed. It was a little tricky to measure and cut but it came out OK.
So even is you can't find seals that fit you might be able to cut up seals from a different year and piece together what you need.
