  5. Quad headlights built into a custom grill surround can look OK if done correctly.

4 headlights lights on 4 stands is not going to be easy to get to look OK .

  6. Got a shot of the headlights ?

im looking.... there was a shot of Paul Sr driving it that i cannot find. Were there not cars built in the 50s and 60s that ran 4 seperate headlites?

Many years ago they sold accessory aluminum headlight brackets made to run 4 lights as it was the fad at one time (not a very popular fad, but a fad nonetheless). Haven't seen those in years but the red hot rod pictured is running them. They had to use smaller headlights, possibly like Deitz headlights or something even smaller.

They were made by the same people who were making the single headlight aluminum mounts, but as the fad died I think everyone stopped making them. If you find a set today it would probably be on Ebay, a swap meet, or in the HAMB classifieds. If someone is still making them I am not aware of who that might be.........maybe someone else will know.

  18. That white couple's headlights might be pretty neat but that's still not a good pic of them.
That purplish pink cars headlights makes me want to shut off my computer and throw something.
The red roadster pickup's headlights looks super tacky,

That's my opinion and everyone will have one - but this is the Hamb .... you know traditional hot rods

Here, I found this picture on the HAMB that shows a clearer picture of the brackets they used to sell and the headlight size that they took.

That looks ok....... Not a big fan of that style grill shell though....

  26. Gotta say I'm not feelin' the side-by-side look. Too much stuff "out in the wind" for an early Ford. If you're determined, I'd go with something more like Sr's coupe above.

Maybe you can find a pair with the adjustable mounting bolt and put one set right into the top of the other buckets. That might be pretty clean...

  27. maybe you should use rectangular lights!

No, they are bigger than that, probably more like driving lights or fog lights with sealed beams installed in place of the yellow fog lights. My guess is driving lights like the use on some 4 x 4's.

BTW, I found one more better picture of the old style mounts they used to sell.

Check out the Harley accessories suppliers. H-D spotlamps are 4 1/2" and you will find also 4" dual headlamps too.
